Completed his residency in Internal Medicine in Little Rock, Arkansas and then off to UCLA specializing in Endocrinology.
Completed his fellowship in Endocrinology at University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB). Proudly became board-certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in 1999. Joined the Baptist Medical system and have practiced at the Princeton Hospital location since then, with an additional practice in Alabaster that I established in 2012. My latest addition is a spacious 5000 sq ft office on Indian Lake Drive off Valleydale Rd. This new location allows us to create an inviting environment where we can provide our patients with the care they truly deserve.
When Dr. Karassi is not at the office, he enjoys traveling, running marathons and serving his community. He is very active in his church. Dr. Karassi lives in Hoover with his wife, Meryem and 2 children.
